How We Got Here

Our goal was to have just pets, but once we saw the condition of how the mini cow craze has caused scamming, false hopes of little cattle with full size genetics, negligent breeding of extreme chondro dwarfism…. The list goes on and on…. Little Hoof Farms, and Little Foot Farms Cattle Co. teamed up, and decided to breed. We want to not only to naturally grow our herd, but also to sell a small number number of cattle to the public. We can’t keep them all, or we probably would, let’s be honest here.

That explains the cows, but the donkeys are a whole other similar story. I picked up a woolly donkey from a rescue who just said “we have seen a lot of donkeys, but never one like this”, because of his long hair. They told me it would fall out soon though most likely, as he was only a year old. Jokes were said what if he is a Woolly, but what were the odds. Well, years went by, and his hair stayed. I was obsessed with wooly donkeys, but found it nearly impossible to find them, and was even attempted to be scammed. So again, I found myself wanting to breed not only to grow my own herd, but to sell a small number each year since I can’t keep them all.
